Because of Corona, There were no job recruitments and notifications either. IBPS has good news for unemployed people. Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across the country have issued notification for Officer Assistant scales along with Officer Scale-1,2,3. A total of 10,447 jobs will be filled with candidates who have passed the degree.

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has started the recruitment process for the posts of Officer scale 1,2,3, and Officer assistant in regional and rural banks. While there are 10,447 posts across the country, there are 407 office assistant posts and 89 scale-1 vacancies in Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) Post: 

1. Bachelor Degree 
2. Local Language, Computer Knowledge is required
3. Age: Must be between 18 and 28 years

For Scale-1,2,3 Post:

1. Graduation degree with relevant subject
2. Experience in any bank or financial institute is a must depending on the post.
3. Age should be between 18 to 40 years depending on the officer post.

Selection Process: 

Office Assistants and Officer Scale-1 posts will be required to attend prelims and the main exam. The exam will be conducted online. There will be an interview for Scale – 1 post. For Scale 2 and 3, there will be the same written exam and interview. Applicants can write their exams in all the recognized languages.

Exam Pattern:

Prelims exam will be conducted only for office assistants and officer scale – 1 post. Subject for both exams includes reasoning, numerical ability. There will be questions for 40 marks for each subject. Thus, a total of 80 marks question paper will be given to applicants. In the Mains exam other subjects including general awareness, computer knowledge, language paper. However, officers scale 2, scale 3 post applicants need to write a single level exam only. Later, they have to face an interview.
