the closing down of schools because of COVID-19, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday announced Rs 2000 financial assistance and 25 Kg rice each free of cost to teachers and staff of recognized private schools. The Chief Minister said that the decision would help 1.50 lakh teachers and staff working in recognized private educational institutions.

Recently, the government has finalized guidelines for the disbursement of Rs 2,000 financial assistance to private teachers and staff. It has been revealed that the details of the teachers will be taken online from the recognized private school owners. To this end, the school principals are advised to enter the details of the teachers on the website schooledu.telangana.gov.in.Teachers’ bank account number and Aadhaar details must be entered. The details are checked with the MEVs, DEVs, and officials and sent to the Department of Education through the collectors. Based on these, the government will provide assistance.

b. Data scrutiny at district level: 16th April
c. Data compilation at the state level: 17th to 19″)
