Who is Eligible for the “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” Scheme?

1. This scheme is applicable for the organizations that have registered with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. 
2. It was effective from 1st October 2020 up to 30th June 2021.
3. For employees, the eligibility criteria include the salary of the employees must be less than 15,000 rupees per month. Also, they need to have a registered PF account. They must be lost their job from 1st March 2020 to 30th September 2020 due to Covid-19 Pandemic. Or the employees got a job after 1st October.
4. Also, the government provides subsidy support to the new employees who got a job after October. 
5. The organizations that have up to 1000 employees will get 24% of wages that includes 12 % of employee contribution and 12 % of employer contribution.
6. For the organizations that have more than 1000 employees 12 % of EPF wages will be provided. 
7. For this, EPF accounts of the new employees must be seeded with the Adhar accounts.
